There are many walking (or riding) tracks , some officially marked, running from the house taking you in any direction.
There are two resident and very friendly horses which, within reason, can be taken out for rides.
There are various waterfalls and rock pools along the river, a short walking distance from the house, where you can go to swim or simply lie on the river rocks and cool off .
Rimbocchi, the small local village, is one km below and has a bakery and pizzeria.
Bibbiena is a medieval hilltop town and our nearest reasonable sized town with a cinema and various activities running throughout the Summer months.
